$20 Game of the Week: Party Hard (PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, IOS, Android)

screwfacecapone, May 3, 2019

This is a weekly column where I spotlight games that are available for $20 or less(regular price, not currently on sale) and are not Free to Play

Everyone likes a good party right? Well not at 3am when you’re trying to sleep. You’re getting sick of those damn kids and their partying. So what do you do, shoot the place up? Call the cops? No, you decide to take matters into your own hands and kill everyone inside. Party Hard is a stealth-action game with pixel retro-style graphics and plenty of dark humor. Your goal is to kill everyone partying without getting caught. Slash random patrygoers, set traps, spike the drink, and even trigger animal rampages throughout several semi-procedurally generated levels. Master each area and escape route to plan your murders thoroughly and quickly. The game also contains several unlockable characters and local co-op multiplayer. If the game’s 19 levels aren’t challenging enough, new dlc adds on new levels that are even harder.
