Back in the 90s, the Beat em Up genre was king, and Capcom was one of the top innovators of the genre. Their back catalog consists of certified classics such as Final Fight and Dungeons and Dragons Shadow over Mystaria. This compilation pack which was released last fall brings together 7 of them. You get Final Fight, Captain Commando, Knights of the Round, King of Dragons, Warriors of Fate (released on American consoles for the first time), Armored Warriors, and Battle Circuit (the latter two having been released in America for the first time). There are some notable omissions such as Alien vs Predator, The Punisher, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, and the two Dungeons and Dragons games but these are due to licensing issues (and the two D&D games were released in a bundle a few years back). Also, these games were originally released in the arcades, so they won’t take long to play through. However, the real fun is getting together with a friend (or in some cases 2 or 3) and spending an evening beating up villains in old-school arcade action.
